How to Upgrade your Equipment

For our Gear Progression you always need to start farming Normal Gear and upgrade it by using the according Materials.

Normal → Rare → Heroic → Godly

There also exists an even better gear than Godly but since it cant be upgraded and you have to be lucky with drops.


In order to upgrade your gear you always want to check the Item Combine NPC since he is the place to go for upgrades.

The basic idea with most of the gear pieces is pretty simple.

Farm 2 drops of the same kind and combine them with a third material which you can obtain by sacrificing the drops you don’t need.

Upgrading gear to Godly will always require a different system than the other stages. More will be explained down below.

Upgrade your Weapon

For Knights & Clerics you’ll only need the half amount of Items for Weapon Combine.

Rare

Required materials:


Slot 1: Normal weapon

Slot 2: Normal weapon

Slot 3: 10 items for weapon combine

Heroic

Required materials:


Slot 1: Rare weapon

Slot 2: Rare weapon

Slot 3: 20 items for weapon combine


Godly

Required materials:


Slot 1: Heroic weapon

Slot 2: 30 items for weapon combine

Slot 3: Orb for your equivalent class


These orbs have to be crafted using “Alchemie” → “Combine Production” The necessary materials drop from mobs in “Ominous Valley”.

Upgrade your Armor

Rare

Required materials:


Slot 1: Normal Armor

Slot 2: Normal Armor

Slot 3: 10 items for Armor combine

Heroic

Required materials:


Slot 1: Rare Armor

Slot 2: Rare Armor

Slot 3: 15 items for Armor combine


Godly

Required materials:


Slot 1: Heroic Armor

Slot 2: 20 items for Armor combine

Slot 3: Orb for your equivalent class


These orbs have to be crafted using “Alchemie” → “Combine Production” The necessary materials drop from mobs in “Ominous Valley”.

Upgrade your Jewels

You only need 1 ring since we changed the right ring slot for the bracelet. You are not able to equip 2 rings.

Rare

Heroic

Upgrade your Belt

Gloves Information

There are two reasons why gloves are special items:

  1. There are no Almighty gloves, Godly is the highest grade they can be obtained in.
  2. Once they are Godly they not only grant stats but also a buff that works the same way as most of you probably know as the “Nightmare Queen” weapon buff. This means they need to be put in your “Quick Slots” to be continuously activated by pressing the according hotkey. Their cooldown will be displayed the same way as any other skill in your “Quick Slots”. For the buff itself you can choose what fits best to your own personal playstyle.

  • Magical Defense

  • Movement Speed
  • Attack Speed

Godly

Slot 3: 5 Fusion materials


As listed above there are 7 different buffs to choose from so there are obviously 7 different fusion materials that can be obtained in Bijous Sanctuary (KQ).

Upgrade your Bracelet
